The artist's process is often savored as much as the final product itself. He becomes inspired and captures the mood, atmosphere and the elusive elements of nature which leads to the loss of self and being at one with the subject. In spite of horseflies biting his ankles in the field or in the studio, having dipped the brush in his coffee, the artist hangs on to his original spark of inspiration and sees it through. In that moment he truly shares his vision and finds a link in the world.
